Our Project

2024 is our last chance to take part in the 4L Trophy before we pass the age threshold. As we're preparing for a great adventure across the continents, we want to do some good: by turning our project into a fundraiser to improve the daily lives of young Moroccans suffering from brain tumors.
Conscious of the environmental impact, we will also offset any C02 emitted by our car before and during the raid.

The fundraiser

Solidarity between young people has always been at the heart of the 4L Trophy.
Our goal is simple: to raise at least €9000 and hand the funds over to the oncological pediatrics ward of the CHU Ibn Rochd located in Casablanca, to make a difference in young people's lives.

Fonds Thomas Berthy

Our main partner is the Thomas Berthy Fund. For the last decade, its founders have dedicated themselves to the fight against brain tumors - by funding brain tumor research and investing in the well-being of kids suffering from it.It is its mission we carry with us and bring to Morocco. The Team

We're Aloïs & Jean-Max, two great childhood friends, who met in primary school at the Jean Renoir French School in Munich. We grew up and studied together, then became flatmates in Berlin. Our 4L's name, La Renoir, is a nod to our beginnings.In recent years, we've been road-tripping together through the USA (2019), Italy (2021), and Argentina (2023).

The 4L Trophy

The 4L Trophy, Europe's biggest youth rally, kicks off in Biarritz every February, with over 1,200 teams driving Renault 4Ls to Morocco without GPS, aiming to cover the fewest kilometers. Created in 1997, this event combines challenge and solidarity, with crews bringing supplies to Moroccan children, in collaboration with "Enfants du désert" and the Red Cross.
